Saturday, October 24th, 2020, as the Senate continued to hurtle toward the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett as the next Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, Sen. Chuck Schumer tweeted a heartbreaking story. It was a story about one of the many victims of the rapid immiseration of the American working class.
